Bread for September 14

I had a little setback this week in the form of an eye injury, but I am on the mend. It prevented my doing one or two experiments with the new organic flour.

I hope to have either an organic buckwheat or an organic caraway rye, or possibly both. I will also have the golden raisin and oat batard, and the Country French. I should have the oatmeal-raisin cookies, too.

One problem I am having with the organic varieties is finding organic additives like walnuts and so forth. I have got some wildly expensive organic raisins, and am on the look for walnuts. I hope to have some of these ingredients figured out soon.

I hope you all are enjoying the fresh local tomatoes as much as I am!

See you Thursday from 5 to 7 PM on Main Street!
